Dr. Kate Lund is a licensed clinical psychologist and performance coach with more than 15 years of experience. She has specialized training in medical psychology from Shriners Burn Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, all of which are affiliated with Harvard Medical School. Dr. Lund uses a strengths-based approach in working with athletes and teams to improve their mental game in sports, school, and life while helping them to reach their full potential.
Dr. Lund is a certified HeartMath® coach and trainer She uses the HeartMath® technology and principles to help athletes achieve a state of physiologic coherence; allowing them to maximize their performance and potential. Additionally, Dr. Lund is certified in emotional intelligence assessment. She uses the EQi 2.0 to provide athletes with a comprehensive picture of their individual emotional intelligence (EQ) and from there works with them to use their EQ strengths to foster a strong performance mindset.
Dr. Lund has a special interest in working with athletes recovering from injury, helping them cope and maintain their mental edge. Dr. Lund played collegiate tennis and these days is an avid golfer and fitness swimmer.
Dr. Lund is a licensed clinical psychologist and certified Mental Game Coach professional (MGCP). Additionally, she is a certified HeartMath® coach and trainer and is certified in Emotional Intelligence Assessment using the EQi 2.0. She will complete her training as an Accredited Professional Coach with the International Coach Federation (ICF) in early 2017.
